Lily walked into Eeylop's Owl Emporium, hoping to get herself an owl like her father, the famous Harry Potter, had told her about owning when he was young and getting into Hogwarts, which was a snowy owl.
Whenever she stepped into the emporium, she found herself enthralled by the amount of owls here. Pleased, she searched for a snowy owl, but most were eagle owls - a popular owl that wealthy children had gotten for Hogwarts she had heard. There were a few tawny here and there, elf owls which she considered really cute, and here was an adorable soot owl, cleaning his feathers with his beak.
Nearer the back, she found what she was looking for. In a medium sized cage, was a baby snowy owl that was just a month old or so. "Aww, he's so precious! I'll take him." she said joyfully and wondered around the store. She still needed to get some food after all. She found some near a shelf at the front where the register was. She quickly paid for her new owl, the cage and two packs of owl pellets, and was on her way, finally, to Hogwart's platform nine and three quarters.
