The beginning of the end, it was the truth. Seventh year, it was finally here. It seemed like just yesterday they were jokingly talking about how they would all rule the school once they were in 7th year. Even though she missed her Hogwarts friends, the summer vacation hadn't been long enough. She had spent too little time soaking up the sun outdoors and too much time waiting on tables at a small little muggle cafe down the street from her house.
Her twin brother and herself said their goodbyes and hugged their parents before entering King's Cross. As usual their mother teared up while their father warned them to keep out of trouble. She smiled and rolled her eyes, ever predictable parents. Fearlessly, they both entered the gateway of bricks to the train platform. The first thing they did was ditch their trunks with the rest of the student's luggage. After that, it didn't take them long to find their respective group of friends and they parted their ways. She was already pulling out her camera and snapping away photos of their last time boarding the Hogwarts Express.
