MYSELF
”Lottie? That’s not too common of a name, where’d your parents find it?”
Well, my mother is French you see and she had a good friend when she was younger who passed away named Lottie. She was one of her best friends when she was little.
”Well, Lottie what’s your middle name dear?”
My middle name? It’s Rosine, one of my aunts names on my mother’s side.
”Speaking of Aunts, was that part of your reasoning for coming to England”
Ah, yes my dad’s brother ‘arold lives here and my dad wanted to be close to him again. My mother wasn’t too ‘appy about it at first but I guess we’ve gotten used to it now.
”You sound like you’ve got an accent there dear,”
Why yes, I grew up in France so I guess I would ‘ave an accent. But I think my English is getting a little better, well I ‘ope so at least, I ‘ave been trying.
”Well tell us dear, where did you grow up in France”
Yes, well my family lived in Val-de-Marne, I loved it there, even though it was quite the small town, it was still a good place to grow up I think at least, I guess everyone has a different opinion on it though. My mother’s family all lives in the town as well, that was where she grew up.
”So dear, being new here are there any boys of interest?”
Ah, yes quite a few boys showed interest in myself and my sister but I guess I’m a little less of the outgoing one you could say. I like to keep to myself and my small circle of friends, it’s just much easier on me. But I guess if they’d like to date me for myself then I wouldn’t mind it so much.
”Your sister you say? Are you close with her?”
Well, yes we are quite close, we’re triplets and on occasion we’ve dressed the same and seen ‘ow many people could tell us apart, quite entertaining really. But she is probably one of my best friends, even though we argue quite a bit.
”You like alike you say, so this blonde hair runs in the family then?”
Yes, my mother has blonde hair as well, I get my eyes from my mom as well, they are a little however closer to my fathers, with a sort of gray tinge to them.
”Are you close with your father?”
Yes, very close, some would say that I’m a ‘daddy’s girl’ I don’t think I am though. 'e does however understand me the best, my most fond childhood memories are times when I was with my father, even if it was just out walking.
”Well, Lottie what was your childhood like?”
It was just great, I love my family we’re all quite close and well, I love thinking back to when we were little because it was really the best times of my life.
”Tell us, what’s your favourite childhood memory?”
Well, when I was seven I remember it was three days after my birthday, and I was still quite upset because when we 'ad are birthday, everyone showed up for my siblings instead of me, so being upset I decided to run away to see my grandma. I remember that I spent the 'ow day drinking tea and eating crumpets with her. It was really a great day. My parents were so worried that day though, that when they were taking me how, they took me for ice cream so that I felt a little more loved for at least a few minutes.
”Your grandmother you say? Are you close with her?”
Yes, I’m very close with my grandma, when I found out my family was moving to England that was the first place I went, I just wanted to get away from my parents for a few ‘ours. I just couldn’t understand why they would want to move away from our ‘ome. My grandmother told me I could stay with her that day, but my parents wouldn’t allow it.
”You seem to be quite attached to France, do you miss it then?”
Yes very much so. I 'ad a lovely boyfriend there, we were to be married. But then my parents decided 'e wasn’t worthy of me and we moved less than a month after. I 'ad such good friends there, but I guess I’ll always have the lovely memories of France. I 'ope to move back there when I finish school.
”Speaking of school, what do you like about it?”
I love potions class, it’s much better then at Beaubatons. It’s just one of those classes I excel at you know? I’m thinking of maybe doing it more in the Future when I get out of school.
”Well, Lottie, what about Quidditch do you like it?”
Not one little bit. Well, I guess I do enjoy watching it, from afar. I could get 'urt watching it close up after all. But it’s interesting. Playing it though, that would not happen. My parents 'ave told me I’m a natural flyer, and should play Quidditch. But the thought of Flying makes me sick, which is quite the issue when travelling, I just try not to think about it too much then though.
”So, I’m assuming not Quidditch, any other interests?”
Why yes, I love to dance, ballet mostly. Which seems quite easy for us. But the teacher I 'ad back in France made us learn it the Muggle way, no magic allowed, which made it so much more fun, and exciting I suppose.
”Interesting, I see it keeps you quite in shape,”
Yes, I also go running quite a bit, I don’t like to let myself go, persay. I like to keep as fit as possible. And well, it’s a great time filler.
”Well, Lottie we should let you get off, don’t want you to be late for wherever it is your off to”
Well, thank you, it was an interesting interview I suppose. Good speaking with you.
