Although Lottie hadn't much enjoyed her trip to flourish and blotts for her books. When she saw that her Potions kit was next on the list she nearly sprinted over to the Apothecary. She loved it there. All those ingredients just made her smile, all the time. She walked around deciding she was going to get more then needed in this store. She got an ounce of five ingredients at the store, a gold scale, a copper cauldron and a stirring spoon. She walked up to the counter and said soflty, "I'd also like to purchase a potion's kit for sixth years." The Shopkeeper went off and got the Potions kit and came back and said, "12 Galleons, 4 Sickles and 23 Knuts" The Shopkeeper said, and Lottie gave him the money.

Evan wasn't overly enthusiastic about Potions, but he knew it's importance in his education enough to have chosen it as one of his elective classes that year. He figured that sticking with all of his subjects until he graduated was the best option all around. Sure, it meant that he had one hell of a workload all year round, but it would be worth it in the end, and Evan was smart enough to not have too much trouble getting through it all. He always seemed to find time to do other, more enjoyable things. Somehow.
Striding up to the counter, he paused behind a blonde girl, waiting patiently as she placed her order and paid for her things. It took a while, as she had picked up quite a lot of items from around the shop, on top of her school things. Things like scales and a cauldron had to be packed carefully. Scratching lightly at his chin, Evan glanced at his watch. There was still plenty of time before he had to get home.
Stepping aside so he wasn't in the girls way, Evan leaned forward a touch, addressing the shop assistant. "I just need a seventh year Potions Kit, please," he told him politely, smiling at the girl as she still stood gathering her belongings at his side. He didn't mean to seem rude or like he was impatient for her to move or leave, he just wanted to get his shopping done quickly so he could read his new books.
